The exhibition will be displayed on bus shelters throughout Donostia, scattered across the city, and will remain visible for the entire duration of the Biennial.

The main goal of Santos Bregaña, the main author of "Uchronias of San Sebastián", is to recover and explore the city’s historical memory, highlighting both its evolution and the identity of its inhabitants. Through its "Postcards," the exhibition aims to provoke critical reflection on urban planning decisions and their impact on Donostia. Moreover, it seeks to challenge the visitors’ imagination by presenting imaginary timelines that—although fictional—could very well have been real, since someone once conceived and designed them.

A complementary exercise in epistolary literature will accompany the exhibition: writer Harkaitz Cano will take on the role of a resident living in each of these imagined versions of the city, sending postcards from these alternate places. 

Frente a un mundo al borde del precipicio, con una crisis humanitaria y ecológica innegable, parece que nuestro imaginario se complace en nutrirse de ficciones de colapso y apocalipsis como vía de escape. Pero ¿qué tal si empezamos a vislumbrar otros futuros? Futuros factibles, vertebrados por el cuidado de la naturaleza y de las personas. Solo es preciso imaginarlo primero, con intensidad e inspiración, para que pueda tomar cuerpo. 

Bajo esta premisa, Greenpeace reunió a un grupo de dibujantes y guionistas de cómic que, arropado por la editorial Astiberri y con la orientación de personas expertas y la inspiración de iniciativas sociales reales, decidió ponerse a imaginar. El resultado es este conjunto de relatos, potentes artefactos visionarios con un objetivo común: imaginar el futuro para cambiar el presente.

Etorkizunean pentsatzeak ziurgabetasuna kudeatzen laguntzen digu, eta, ildo horretan, etorkizunaren dekalogo bat proposatzen digu liburu honek. Zirriborroak eta gero proiektuak hamar egileren hamar fabula eskaintzen dizkigu: Katixa Agirre, Uxue Alberdi, Lucía Baskaran, Harkaitz Cano, Gabriela Damián Miravete, Belén Gopegui, Karmele Jaio, Danele Sarriugarte, Iban Zaldua eta Patxi Zubizarreta. Arabako Azala kreazio-espazioaren gonbidapen batetik abiatuta eta irudimenaren botere bereziaren indarrez, kontakizun bana eraiki zuten hamar idazle horiek, zenbait alternatiba sozial, kultural, afektibo, feminista eta dekolonialetan oinarrituz, argitara ekarri nahian natura-, giza eta teknologia-baliabideekin daukagun harremana kudeatzeko beste modu batzuk.
